I have worked within the IT industry for nearly 25 years, and have adapted to the step change in the way information is managed. Starting in a development role, I quickly moved across to product management and established myself as as a strong leader in the field. Empathetic to peoples needs and circumstances I am highly skilled in influencing decision making and coaching people in their roles. Based in South Wales I am currently managing a large portfolio of government legislative controls and services, through a high performing product management team.

This was an exciting oppurtuinty to join a highly dynamic project team wthin an industry leading organisation in the defence sector. Initally I was appointed as a product specialist and worked together with clients to develop the product to specifciation. This started off as a medium sized organisation with utility specific (water) clients. The organisation was a process engineering provider, so not directly connected with IT although there was scope to grow in to the role as the IT department grew. Clubs Online was a company that was formed right in the middle of the ".com" boom. I was appointed as an IT developer, which at the time, meant I had to cover all the day to day activities, whilst the director was liasing with clients and trying to further establish the organisation.
